Harlow's smash cake was my first attempt at baking a "naked" cake and I'd say I was pretty happy with the results for how ridiculously easy it was! The inspiration and DIY can be found here.

This white vintage highchair Jesse so tediously sanded and repainted was a hand me down. I'll tell ya guys, the amount of time he put into refinishing that thing was a labor of love for this little girl
(and maybe just a bit for me too!)
We decorated all of the tables with pale pink table cloths and mason jars filled with fresh flowers. I was able to get use out of them for Harlow's 1st birthday photography session and as you know, I love finding multiple purpose in all things. In fact, two of the lace wrapped mason jar's are still in her room.
I also tried to keep the floral, boho vibe by draping the cupcake table with lace and wrapping the edge with felt vines. So much of this décor carried over to her room. Those sweet little vines are now wrapped around her teepee tent.
Harlow's birthday favors were white berry baskets filled with pale pink homemade macaroons, tribal tattoos and an on the go tic-tac-toe satchel to keep crazy little peanuts busy during restaurant trips! The how-to for that can be found here.
Her month-by-month photographs were placed on paper floral wrapped mason jars and hung up with twine.
The only thing I'm kinda bummed out about is that I don't have any good photographs of Harlow in her outfit. You know how these little babes can be, especially at this age and with her free spirit (and the warm June air) she preferred to fly au naturel. I've included a picture below because I have ordered quite a few things from this Etsy shop (The Pine Torch), in adult sizes too, so it's totally worth checking out!
